Amber Man Named TSCRA Special Ranger for Oklahoma

Fort Worth, Texas - Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association (TSCRA) has named Austin M. Green special ranger for District 3. District 3 includes parts of central and northern Oklahoma. Green will be stationed in Grady County. District 3 encompasses Atoka, Bryan, Caddo, Canadian, Carter, Cleveland, Coal, Comanche, Cotton, Garvin, Grady, Hughes, Jefferson, Johnston, Love, Marshall, McClain, McIntosh, Murray, Okfuskee, Oklahoma, Pittsburg, Pontotoc, Pottawatomie, Seminole, Stephens, and Tillman Counties.

Green has more than 17 years of law enforcement experience. He has extensive experience in cattle, horse and ranch related theft investigations. Most recently he worked as the director of security for the Delaware Nation, Gold River Casino in Anadarko, Okla.

"Austin has worked on numerous investigations within the cattle industry and has worked closely with TSCRA Special Rangers in the past," TSCRA Executive Director of Law Enforcement and Theft Prevention Larry Gray said. "His contacts throughout the state of Oklahoma, and his good working relationships with those in  law enforcement, as well as livestock and ranching industries, make him a great asset to our organization. I welcome him to TSCRA and look forward to working with him."

Green is an advisory board member for the Criminal Justice Program at Caddo-Kiowa Vo-Tech and a member of the Grady County Cattleman's Association. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice Management and Ethics from Mid-America Christian University.

TSCRA has 28 special rangers stationed strategically throughout Texas and Oklahoma who have in-depth knowledge of the cattle industry and are trained in all facets of law enforcement.  All are commissioned as Special Rangers by the Texas Department of Public Safety and/or the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.

Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association is a 131-year-old trade organization and is the largest livestock association in Texas.  TSCRA has more than 15,000 members who manage approximately 4 million head of cattle on 51.5 million acres of range and pasture land, primarily in Texas and Oklahoma.  TSCRA provides law enforcement services, livestock inspection, legislative and regulatory advocacy and educational opportunities for its members.
