George Ranch site of TSCRA ranch gathering The historic George Ranch in Richmond was the site of the TSCRA ranch gathering May 8, where 175 people enjoyed a great dinner and listened to speakers give updates on current issues effecting the beef industry. It was also a good night for joining TSCRA, with the association welcoming 20 new memberships. First Vice President Dave Scott held a discussion on the importance of joining TSCRA, followed by Dr. Dick Sherron, TSCRA past-president, who gave attendees an update on Trans-Texas Corridor progress. Mike McCravey, Texas Beef Council, also updated folks on the beef checkoff. The night ended with nearly every person walking away with one of the many door prizes. Special thanks go to Philip Leopold, Linc Lutreck, Joe Mask, Linda Joy Stovall and TSCRA Special Ranger Tommy Charbula for helping to keep the event running smoothly.
