CEUs available for brush control workshop
on June 20 in Kingsville

Attendees completing the brush control workshop on Friday, June 20, will earn 5.5 continuing education units (CEUs) toward their pesticide applicators license.

The Kleberg-Kenedy Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) Brush Control Workshop will be held at the Dick Kleberg Park, in the Recreational Building, Highway 77 at Escondido Road, in Kingsville.

Registration is at 8 a.m. and the workshop runs 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The workshop is $5 per person and covers lunch and materials.

Register by calling Robert Schmidt, District Conservationist with USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) at 361/592-0309 ext. 3.

Workshop sponsors include the Kleberg-Kenedy SWCD, the Grazing Lands Conservation Initiative (GLCI), USDA-NRCS, Texas/Mexico Border Coalition CDO, and the Texas Riveria Chapter of the Soil Water Conservation Service.
