Weekly crime watch: cattle stolen from
Comanche County ranch

Thieves entered through an unlocked gate at a Comanche County ranch earlier this year and stole a number of cattle. If you have any information that can help Special Ranger Joe Rector in recovering these cattle, please contact him.

Date of theft: Dec. 1, 2007, to April 1, 2008

Location of theft: Comanche, Comanche County, Okla.

Method of break-in: Entered pasture through an unlocked gate, loaded the cattle and left the area.

Property stolen: Twenty-five black cows, 950 to 1,050 pounds, branded with a rocking B on the right hip. Thirteen mixed breed cows with multiple brands and varying weights. Three black bulls weighing 1,100 pounds, with an EX brand on the left hip.
