TDA Market Recap, (4-21-08) For the week ending April 19, feeder cattle prices at Texas auctions were mixed, mostly steady to 5.00 per hundred weight higher, with few sale barns steady to 5.00 lower. Fed cattle prices were mostly 3.00 higher. As for futures markets, both feeder and fed cattle futures rebounded somewhat and closed higher for the week. Wheat, cotton and lumber futures closed lower, while corn closed higher. Over the past week, very little rainfall was reported across the state.
